Introduction
We all know that Electricity is the major power source of Humans in this century. In other words, our modern life depends on Electricity. Each and every instrument we use to make our life easier totally depends on the Electricity. Though the science and technology is developing day by day no better alternative for this Electrical Power will be replaced in next few centuries. There is a very complex process before Electricity gets into the house. We can basically separate that process into 3 stages.

  1. Electricity Generation: Hydropower plants, Thermal power plants(Gas, Diesel ), Nuclear power plants, Renewable Energy based power plants (Solar Power, Wind Power, Geothermal, Tidalwave etc)
  2. Transmission : Interconnecting power plants with the substation ( Bulk movement of Electrical Energy - Use High Voltages, use both AC (Alternative current ) and DC (Direct Current))
  3. Distribution : Sending lower voltage Electricity to houses and business places ( 50/60 Hz, 400 V, 3 phase and 230 V single phase )
So there are many problems to consider in this complex process. So the "Eloncity Model" is a concept which was created to address all the challenges faced by this Electrical system. First of all, let's understand the challenges faced by our Electrical power systems or our grids.
  • High Electricity cost: Our centralized AC power electrical systems do not cost efficient
  • Low Safety : There are many safety issues in existing power grids and they are not able to guarantee 100% safe power supply
  • Environmental Problems: The conventional power generation process is not environment-friendly, especially when considering thermal power generation.
Not only the above-mentioned problems in grids, we have to consider the challenges like population growth, natural disasters, climate change etc. So there is a huge requirement of a new approach for the power generation and power distribution in near future. According to my point of view, this project "Eloncity" which is based on Decentralized renewable energy design architecture gives solutions to most of the problems in the Energy systems future world.
What is Eloncity?
Eloncity is a project based on decentralized renewable energy design architecture. It contains a blockchain platform which provides efficient, secure, open recording of energy transactions. And this "Eloncity Model", is an approach which is community-centric and support decentralize renewable energy resources to achieve efficient, cost-effective, safe, reliable power supply. Eloncity is the future of power industry.

Why Do We Need Eloncity?
The world's population is increasing day by day. With that, the demand for electrical energy is increasing too. So centralized AC grids will not be a cost-efficient solution for transmitting a huge amount of electrical energy for long distances when considering the losses ( transmission loss and distribution loss ). And with the increasing demand, the above-mentioned problems in centralized AC power electrical systems too get more effective. So this technology must change, there must be a better way or a way without these problems. Project Eloncity seems to be a very good solution for this when considering the "Eloncity Model" which was created to address all the challenges faced by this centralized AC power electrical systems.
Another important fact which we must consider is the blockchain platform which provides efficient, secure, open recording of energy transactions. It is very significant. The Blockchain stage is the major cause for a secured and efficient record for a proficient chronicle of vitality exchanges in the network in a reliable manner. The blockchain platform also motivates and empowers the Eloncity project community group to build up an auditable record and it is a very significant advantage.

So when considering these facts we can very easily understand the reliability and value of this "Eloncity Model" for the future generations or for the power industry in the future world. And this project gives what people actually want, a safe, cost-effective, reliable power system.
